About Unique Dining Week In Roanoke
After a nearly three-year hiatus, Unique Dining Week in Roanoke is returning June 16-25, 2023. Metroport Meals On Wheels has partnered with the City of Ronaoke as well as several local restaurants that will be donating a percentage of food sales during that week.
As the Unique Dining Capital of Texas, Roanoke is home to over 65 restaurants providing fine dining to fast food and everything in between. Roanoke is also home to Metroport Meals On Wheels (MMOW), which provide food and essential support for the elderly and those in need in our community. With food at the heart of MMOW's mission, partnership with Roanoke restaurants provides a natural alliance.
The goal of this collaborative effort between the City of Roanoke and Metroport Meals On Wheels is to promote patronage of Roanoke restaurants while raising contributions that will support local seniors.

Metroport Meals On Wheels, Inc. is a grassroots volunteer advocate for the elderly and those in need through home-delivered meals, and other support services. MMOW is Neighbors Helping Neighbors to alleviate hunger, isolation, and loneliness in our communities, and to foster the independence, worth and dignity of each individual we serve.
